To book this home you need to complete one of our leases. We will send it to you once we have ACCEPTED your request.

Unwind and make memories in the house, and while exploring Massanutten and the surrounding area. Tastefully furnished & decorated with vacationing families in mind, Great Escape has plenty of room for gathering together and spreading out.
5 bedrooms, big great room with a big stone gas log fireplace, a long dining room table for everyone to dine, together. Enjoy a warming fire, (Fireplace use 01 October through 31 March, ONLY), while sharing meals with your family, watching TV, and just hanging out.

Great Escape is a quick walk to the scenic Overlook & hiking trails are very close. You could even walk there! Great Escape is close to Mountain Greens Golf Course, Campfire Grill restaurant and ice skating. 10-minute drive to the water park. 5-minute drive to mini-golf, go-karts & the ski lodge and tubing park. See the ski slopes, lit up, at night from the North side of the house. Mountain view, year-round from the East side of the house.

Enter the house from the downstairs door at the driveway, or walk the short path to the front door, from the driveway.

DOWNSTAIRS: Large family/entertainment room with an 82” rear projection TV with HD cable, and a BRAND-NEW pool table with accessories. Off the family room are 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom (with a tub/shower) between them. The bedroom to the left of the hall bathroom has a queen bed, and a 32” cable TV, the other bedroom has a twin bed and a pyramid bunk bed set (twin over double) with all new mattresses.

UPSTAIRS: A fully stocked kitchen including an air fryer that also offers a breakfast bar and chairs for additional seating, plus a highchair for babies and toddlers. The dining area is between the kitchen and the living room. The dining table and kitchen breakfast bar seat 14.
The large living room boasts a Cathedral ceiling & two skylights, a 50” HD cable TV, and a stone, gas log fireplace, (Fireplace use 01 October through 31 March, ONLY).

Off the kitchen is the King bedroom with 32” cable TV, and a full bathroom, with a tub/shower.

Off the side of the living room are two bedrooms with a full bathroom between them. The bedroom to the left of the hall bathroom has queen bed, and a 32” ROKU TV, and the bedroom to the right of the hall bathroom has a twin bunk bed set, and a double/full bed.

Off the back of the living room is a newly cleaned and stained screened porch with a BRAND-NEW propane grill AND A NEW, FOUR/FIVE PERSON HOT TUB!

A narrow, babbling brook runs through the backyard and can be seen and heard from the screened porch, from the King bedroom and the upstairs bunk bedroom, and from the downstairs family room!

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THIS PROPERTY.

* We provide a small welcome basket with some essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish pods, and trash bags to get your vacation started, but you may need to purchase more!

Stipulations:
1) The reservation must be in the name of the person whose name is on the military ID.
2) A copy of your unexpired U.S. military ID card, current orders, or Veteran's Administration ID must be submitted BEFORE you make any payment to get this discount, since we are unable to deduct anything from the cost after your payment is made through HomeAway.
Mark through all social security numbers on the military ID copy.
Military discount will be applied once your military ID is received in our office.
3) Military IDs received after payment has been made will not be honored for the discount.
4) This discount is given to active duty, reservists and retired military persons.
5) Military discount is not given to civilians, civilian affiliates, contractors, Senior Executive Service (SES), Federal affiliates or Military affiliates accompanying the Armed Forces.
